Thanks for visiting our Capstone Project! We are a small team of two programmers from Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario.
This project started out as an assignment in our Mobile Development class in year 3. We learned Flutter and created an app to help people find vets in their area, and our interest grew from there! We decided to create a responsive web app for our Capstone above one that was strictly mobile because we wanted it to be as accessible as possible for those even without a smartphone. We love our pets and what we do and are excited to bring this idea to life!
Toebeans Vet Finder is a resource for all pet owners. Here's what you need to know:
- Use the map to search vets in your area and see their address, open hours, contact info, and more!
- Create an account via the sign-up link here to save your favourite vets, and upload your pet's profile!
- Select your account theme on the settings page and show off your favourite pets!
- Print a QR code from the Pet Profile page for your pet and affix it to their collar, harness, or leash!
